All Shells in Mortal Shell II (8 Playable Classes)

All 8 Shells in Mortal Shell II: every playable fallen warrior, how to unlock them and which returning and new Shells are confirmed.

All Shells in Mortal Shell II

Shells are the remains of fallen warriors that the Harbinger can discover and possess. Each Shell is found in a specific location, becomes permanently unlocked after discovery, and grants unique stats, abilities and a distinct combat style.

The official description confirms eight lost warriors in total.

Confirmed Shells

Eredrim the Venerable

A returning Shell from the original Mortal Shell. A hulking, heavy warrior suited to a tanky, high-health playstyle. See Eredrim the Venerable.

Proxima the Broodseeker

A new Shell introduced in the sequel (also spelled “Blood Seeker” in some early coverage). Details on her abilities are being compiled by the community — see Proxima the Broodseeker.

Tiel the Acolyte

A returning Shell from the original. Nimble and stamina-oriented (in the original), adapted to the sequel’s no-stamina combat. See Tiel the Acolyte.

Five more Shells

Five additional Shells have been confirmed by the developer’s “eight lost warriors” description but not yet fully detailed publicly. This page will list all 8 Shells with unlock locations and build recommendations after launch.

How Shells work

  • Discover a Shell’s corpse in the world → it becomes permanently unlocked.
  • Possessing a Shell changes your stats, ability and combat rhythm.
  • Shell unique abilities consume Resolve (the same resource used by Sidearms).
  • You can switch between discovered Shells at rest points / via the menu.

Shells vs classes

Think of Shells as classes with a story: they are characters, not blank templates. Each one changes how you should approach combat and exploration.
