Official Mortal Shell II update tracker
Use this as a verification route, not a substitute for a developer post. The primary records are the official Steam News feed and the official Mortal Shell website. Steam lists the Windows release date as August 20, 2026.
What makes an update confirmed?
| Check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Official developer, publisher, or Steam post | Separates source material from summaries and rumors. |
| Publication date | Places a fix in sequence. |
| Clear game and platform scope | Avoids applying a PC claim to every version. |
| Original wording or linked notes | Keeps exceptions and qualifiers intact. |
Verify a reported fix
- Open the official post and record its date and URL.
- Confirm it names Mortal Shell II and its affected platform or build.
- Read the complete notes before changing settings or assuming a balance change applies everywhere.
- Compare any stated version with the game client; storefront and console rollouts can differ.
What this page does not infer
No undocumented version number, hotfix, balance change, compatibility claim, or release cadence is listed as confirmed. Future entries should link their dated original source and state the exact platform and version that source identifies.
See system requirements and platforms and price for separately sourced support and purchase information.
