A documented item example

The August 29 official update describes Egon’s Stone as reviving you at a dungeon entrance at a durability cost; when it breaks, it prevents Gloom loss for that death. Read that condition before treating it as unlimited protection.

Upgrades and resources

The Steam description confirms melee and ranged weapon upgrades. Our Tarstone page separates dated official changes from the old unsupported claim that every Tarstone is a weapon socket material.

A practical comparison checklist

  1. Read the effect and the cost shown in your current game.
  2. Separate durability, charges and purchase costs if the item displays them.
  3. Compare the upgrade with the equipment you actually use.
  4. Record the item name and version before comparing a guide’s values.

This page no longer recommends rushing one weapon, farming unnamed bosses for rare materials, or assuming that armor workbenches exist. A full item database needs individual evidence for effects, locations and reset conditions; this page is a small documented starting point.
